Joydeep is an SRFTI alumnus who specializes in cinematography,

based in Mumbai & Kolkata. He’s an automobile engineer by education. Having grown up in the hills of Darjeeling, passion for photography struck very early to him. Which he later wanted to pursue as a profession.

He’s worked as the chief asst. camera in Nandita Das’ feature film “Zwigato” which premiered in Toronto, Busan and had a theatrical release internationally.

He has shot his first Bengali feature film awaiting release. Apart from that he’s worked in several features, shorts & advertisements.
